- Via MMI: Settings → Service → Oil Change → Reset
- Via VCDS: Adaptation → Service interval reset (more complete)
- Shorten interval to 10,000 km manually — factory LongLife 30,000 km is NOT safe in Malaysia
Longlife Indicator — What It Misses
Audi's Longlife service indicator monitors engine oil condition, brake pads, brake fluid, and spark plugs. It does NOT monitor: S tronic dual-clutch fluid, Quattro rear differential fluid, Quattro front differential fluid, or DSG haldex fluid. Many A3 owners discover overdue drivetrain fluids only when symptoms appear at 80,000+ km.
