Honda Accord Type One Sway Bar Upgrade — Less Body Roll, More Confidence

The Accord TC10 1.5T and CP/CU 2.4L both use front sway bars. The TC10 in particular benefits from a Type One upgrade — its turbo engine and slightly nose-heavy layout means firm cornering instils real confidence.
Bushing wear and Type One upgrade for Accord
OEM bushing clunk on CP/CU typically appears after 120,000 km; TC10 around 90,000 km. Replacement: RM100–RM180 including labour. Type One Accord bar: noticeably tightens cornering feel, reduces understeer. Popular upgrade for TC10 owners. Upgrade cost: RM650–RM950 fitted at our Bandar Sri Damansara workshop.
