Mazda BT-50 DPF / Carbon Malaysia — Diesel
BT-50 diesel: DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) issue — short city trips do NOT complete DPF passive regeneration. DPF light on: drive 30+ km highway at 80+ km/h. Forced regen with MDS if severe. Injector carbon from city idling: injector clean every 80,000 km. EGR cleaning at 80,000 km. Diesel soot: NOT the same as petrol direct-injection carbon.

BT-50 Diesel Carbon & DPF
- Diesel = soot/carbon in DPF, EGR, intake manifold — different from petrol direct injection carbon
- DPF: if DPF warning light on, perform forced regen (highway 80+ km/h for 30–40 min or workshop tool regen)
- EGR carbon cleaning: every 80,000–100,000 km; intake manifold clean at same time; RM 400–700
