Mazda BT-50 TF Malaysia Guide — 2021+
BT-50 TF (2021+): third generation, Isuzu D-Max platform (unlike previous BT-50 which was Ford Ranger based). Isuzu 1.9L or 3.0L turbodiesel. Modern styling, updated interior. 4WD variants available. Malaysia: launched 2021. 1.9L: city use, lighter, more fuel efficient. 3.0L: towing, offroad, heavy use. Both: reliable diesel units if properly serviced. Key: avoid buying if DPF was not properly maintained — costly to rectify.

- UP (2011–2020): 2.2L MZR-CD or 3.2L diesel — older platform, Ranger-based
