Bezza D-CVT: change Perodua/Daihatsu CVT fluid every 40,000 km. Use Perodua-approved fluid only — NOT generic CVT or Toyota WS. Classic symptom of neglected fluid: shudder at 40–60 km/h under light throttle. A fluid change resolves this in most cases before any internal damage occurs.

The D-CVT is Perodua's Drive-Chain CVT — a chain-belt hybrid design that differs from conventional rubber-belt CVTs. Only Perodua/Daihatsu-approved CVT fluid should be used. Toyota WS, Aisin CVT fluid, or generic CVT fluids are NOT compatible and can cause shudder or premature wear. Change every 40,000 km at a Perodua Service Centre or a reputable independent workshop that stocks Perodua-spec fluid.
