Toyota Innova Oil Leak — Common Sources & Repair
Innova diesel common oil leaks: turbo oil feed/return lines, valve cover gasket, crankshaft rear seal. Diesel oil leaks worsen faster under heat. Costs.

Innova Oil Leak — Diesel-Specific Sources
Innova diesel common oil leak sources: turbo oil feed line banjo bolt seal (O-ring), turbo oil return line gasket, valve cover gasket, crankshaft rear seal. The turbo-related leaks are more common on the diesel than on petrol models. Oil leaks on a diesel turbo engine are more serious — oil on hot turbo components can smoke or create fire risk. Address any oil leak promptly. Valve cover gasket: RM 150–250. Turbo oil line seal: RM 100–200. Crankshaft rear seal: RM 400–600 (labour-intensive).
Oil Leak Detection — Toyota Engines
Common Toyota engine oil leak points: valve cover gasket (most frequent — brown residue on top of engine), camshaft oil seals, crankshaft front seal (oil on timing cover), and the oil drain plug (overtightened at previous service). For Hilux/Fortuner diesel, also check the turbo oil feed and return lines. Any oil leak in the timing belt area on belt-driven engines is critical — oil-soaked belts snap. Valve cover gasket replacement costs RM 120–250 at independent workshops.
