AGM Battery Registration Via VCDS — Do Not Skip
Skipping VCDS battery registration after replacing the Jetta AGM battery causes the power management system to overcharge the new battery — destroying it within 6–12 months. Registration resets the charging algorithm and battery age counter. Battery health check is included in every 4M Car Care service.
