VW Group Oil Approval Matters
The T-Roc requires VW Group approved oil (VW 504 00 / 507 00 or 508 00 / 509 00). Generic 5W-40 does not meet additive requirements and accelerates wear. Always verify the VW approval code on the bottle before any oil service — not just the viscosity grade.
