VW Touareg AGM Battery Malaysia — VCDS Coding
Large AGM battery (80–95Ah). MUST VCDS code after replacement. High electrical demand (air suspension, V6). Malaysia RM 650–980 (coding included).
Touareg Battery
- Dual battery system: main AGM + 48V lithium battery pack — do NOT attempt DIY; dealer or specialist only
- Main AGM: RM 650–950; 48V pack replacement: RM 4,000–8,000 if faulty
AGM Battery Registration Via VCDS — Do Not Skip
Skipping VCDS battery registration after replacing the Touareg AGM battery causes the power management system to overcharge the new battery — destroying it within 6–12 months. Registration resets the charging algorithm and battery age counter. Battery health check is included in every 4M Car Care service.
