V6: valve cover gaskets (2x) at 80,000+ km. Oil cooler seal at high mileage. Supercharger oil seep possible. Malaysia RM 300–700.

- V6 turbo oil feed lines: inspect at 100,000 km; RM 200–450
- Cam cover gaskets (2 covers on V6): each side RM 350–550
- V6 front crankshaft seal: at 120,000+ km; RM 600–1,000 (labour-intensive on V6)
UV Dye Test Before Gasket Work
Seepage from cam cover gaskets or camshaft seals is common on higher-mileage Touareg engines and often remains stable. A true leak — drips on ground, burning smell, rapid oil level drop — needs action. At 4M Car Care we use a UV dye leak test to find the exact source before any gasket or seal work on the Touareg.
