TT 8J: DQ250 (6-speed wet S-tronic) — Pentosin FFL-2 every 60,000 km, very reliable. TT 8S: DQ381 (7-speed wet S-tronic) — Pentosin FFL-4 every 60,000 km. Manual TT: no S-tronic fluid. Malaysia RM 600–1,000. No DQ200 dry-clutch judder concern on any TT.
TT DQ350 & Haldex Fluids
- DQ350 6-speed wet-clutch S-tronic: G052529A2 — every 40,000 km; RM 420–580
- Haldex Gen 5 quattro coupling: Haldex Gen 5 fluid — every 40,000 km; RM 280–380
- DQ350 is NOT the same fluid as DQ200 or DQ381 — use G052529A2 specifically
S tronic Fluid — Not Lifetime in Malaysia
Audi once labelled the S tronic dual-clutch gearbox as having lifetime fluid — this has since been revised. In Malaysia's heat, S tronic fluid breaks down faster than in Germany. Dark fluid at 60,000 km indicates oxidation and reduced clutch lubrication. A TT S tronic rebuild costs RM 8,000–20,000; a fluid service costs RM 400–700.
