Spark Plug Grade for Perodua NR-VE
The NR-VE engine uses NGK or Denso iridium plugs — standard copper plugs are not recommended as they gap faster in this engine. OEM iridium plugs last 60,000 km. Replacement cost: RM 20–40 per plug (4 plugs total). Misfires or rough idle after 60,000 km are often spark plug related — a simple, low-cost fix. Do not use aftermarket multi-electrode plugs that claim to 'boost power' — they don't work on modern EFI engines.
