Malaysia's frequent speed bumps and potholes cause disc distortion (warping) faster than in smoother markets. Warped discs cause pulsation felt through the brake pedal. Check disc thickness at every brake pad change — replace if below the minimum stamped on the disc. Budget RM 150–280 per disc at independent workshops. Always replace discs in pairs per axle. For Saga rear drums: inspect brake shoes and wheel cylinders every 40,000 km.
