- Cam cover gasket: most common on EA211 at 70,000–90,000 km; RM 200–320
- Sump plug washer: check every service
UV Dye Test Before Gasket Work
Seepage from cam cover gaskets or camshaft seals is common on higher-mileage T-Roc engines and often remains stable. A true leak — drips on ground, burning smell, rapid oil level drop — needs action.
