Malaysia vs Longlife Intervals
Audi's Longlife service intervals were calibrated for European conditions — cooler temperatures, better fuel quality, and less traffic congestion. In Malaysia's heat and stop-start city traffic, oil degrades faster. At 4M Car Care we recommend a 10,000 km oil change interval for all Q8 variants regardless of what the Longlife indicator shows. For other service items (brake fluid, coolant, S tronic fluid), the OEM schedule is generally appropriate.
