Mazda Diagnostics — Malaysia Workshop Guide
Mazda uses the Mazda Diagnostic System (MDS) at authorised service centres. For independent workshops, Launch X431, Autel MaxiSys, and iCarsoft i903 cover all common fault codes for Mazda SKYACTIV models including ABS, SRS, TPMS, and powertrain. MRCC (radar cruise control) and BSD (blind spot detection) calibration after windscreen replacement or sensor work requires specialized equipment — seek an authorised centre or a well-equipped specialist. Mazda Connect infotainment issues (navigation, Bluetooth) can often be resolved by software update via USB at home without a workshop visit. TPMS reset is straightforward — done via steering wheel menus.
