Mazda 3 SkyActiv Engine Oil Malaysia — 0W-20
Mazda 3 SkyActiv-G must use 0W-20 fully synthetic. 1.5L: 3.7L capacity; 2.0L: 4.3L. High compression SkyActiv engine is tuned specifically for 0W-20 — using 5W-30 or thicker reduces fuel economy and may affect HCCI combustion on SkyActiv-X. Change every 10,000 km. Malaysia: RM 250–400.

Mazda SKYACTIV Engine Oil — Malaysia
SKYACTIV-G petrol engines specify 0W-20 fully synthetic oil — this is a departure from the 5W-30 common among older Japanese vehicles. Do not upsize to 5W-30 thinking it offers more protection: SKYACTIV-G engines have tight tolerances designed around low-viscosity oil, and thicker oil can actually reduce efficiency and increase fuel consumption. Use genuine Mazda oil or equivalent certified 0W-20 (API SP or SN Plus). For the SKYACTIV-D 2.2 diesel (CX-5, CX-8), use 5W-30 DPF-compatible oil. Oil capacity: Mazda3 2.0L — 4.3L; CX-5 2.5L — 5.0L.
