Mazda SKYACTIV engines use rubber engine and transmission mounts. In Malaysian city conditions (constant low-speed vibration, heat), rubber compounds harden and crack over time. Inspect at 80,000–100,000 km. Signs of worn mounts: vibration felt through the gear lever or floor, clunking during D/R engagement, excessive engine shake at idle. Front engine mount replacement: RM 150–300; transmission mount: RM 100–250; torque arm: RM 150–250 per unit. Replace in pairs where applicable. SKYACTIV-D diesel models are particularly sensitive to mount condition due to higher engine vibration from the diesel compression cycle.
