Pre-Purchase VCDS Check at 4M Car Care
Before buying any used Golf in Malaysia, bring it to 4M Car Care for a VCDS pre-purchase inspection. We check: stored fault codes across all modules, DSG clutch adaptation and fluid condition, battery SOH, brake pad thickness, timing chain health via camshaft codes, and any active fault lights. Many sellers clear fault codes before selling — VCDS sees stored codes even after clearing. The inspection fee (RM 150–220) is far less than the cost of a hidden DSG fault or timing chain issue discovered after purchase.
