Q8 Spark Plugs

  • Combine with carbon walnut blast at same service for efficiency
  • Cost: RM 650–1,000

Iridium Plugs for TFSI Engines

The Q8's 55 TFSI / 60 TFSI V8 Quattro engine requires iridium spark plugs — these cost more than copper or platinum plugs but last significantly longer (60,000 km vs 20,000 km). Using cheaper plugs in an Audi TFSI direct-injection turbo engine causes rough idle, misfires, and can trigger coil pack damage which is expensive to fix. Always replace all plugs as a full set and inspect ignition coils while the engine cover is off. At 4M Car Care iridium plug replacement on the Q8 is scheduled at 60,000 km intervals.
