Audi A5 Brake Disc Malaysia
A5 standard front: 312mm or 340mm (S-line). Replace discs with pads when worn. Malaysia OEM RM 800–1,600/axle. S5 3.0T: 345mm front. Aftermarket Brembo or DBA available at lower cost. EPB rear: electronic caliper — reset VCDS before rear disc work. Do not use harsh chemical disc cleaner on coated discs.

Surface Rust and Disc Life in Malaysian Humidity
High humidity in Malaysia means brake discs surface-rust quickly after rain or overnight. This is normal and clears within a few brake applications. Concern yourself with disc minimum thickness (stamped on disc edge), deep radial grooves and disc warping felt as brake pedal pulsation. On the A5, always replace brake pads and discs as a pair when either is at the wear limit. Using aftermarket coated discs (Brembo, DBA, PowerStop) reduces surface rust and improves cold wet-weather braking performance.
